I came across this website ” shedbuilding101″ from a refferal by one of my clients. We were discussing the design for a new detached garage and had it pretty much sketched out and then I told him how much I would have to charge. The client told me that they could get plans for something similar for a fraction of the cost. I told them to go for it. Well they did. So I checked out the site “shedbuilding101″ here’s what I found, not only did they get similar plans for less than a tenth of the price they also got 40 others. They also got instructions on how they could build the garage/shed themselves and save a ton of money by cutting out the contractor. I don’t like it, but I don’t blame them.
The clients told me that not only did they get a similar plan of what they wanted they also got plans for wood sheds, cabin plans garage plans, a chicken coop (why a chicken coop) sheds for garden tools and a bunch others and they all came with “how to” instructions.
I think I am going to buy and download all of “shedbuilding101″ stuff for the $29 bucks they’re asking and sell them myself.
Anyhow I thought all of you other designer/draftsmen would like to know what is going on. Below I made a video of what I found.
